Do I need to open ports on my router?
Yes, you need to forward UDP port 51820 to your node's local IP address. The setup wizard will guide you through this.
What's the difference between the node and the SD card?
The pre-built nodes include the Raspberry Pi 5 hardware, case, power supply, and pre-configured SD card — ready to plug in. The SD card is just the software — you supply your own Raspberry Pi 4 or 5.
Is my internet still private?
Yes. VPN users' traffic is encrypted end-to-end via WireGuard. You share bandwidth, not your browsing data. Your personal traffic remains unaffected.
Can I use the free download on a VPS?
Absolutely. The installer works on any Linux server — cloud VPS, dedicated server, or home server. Many providers run nodes on DigitalOcean, Vultr, or Hetzner.
How do I get paid?
Rewards are paid in DVPN tokens from the daily reward pool, distributed based on your bandwidth contribution and speed tier. DVPN is a Solana-based token — provide your Solana wallet during setup.
