What Is the DVPN Token?
DVPN is a utility token on the Solana blockchain. It serves three purposes within the DeVpn ecosystem:
- Provider rewards — Node operators earn DVPN for routing VPN traffic and maintaining uptime
- Network governance — Token holders can participate in future governance decisions
- Payment option — Users can pay for VPN service using DVPN tokens
How Providers Earn DVPN
Availability Rewards
A daily pool of 10,000 DVPN tokens is distributed among all online nodes. Your share is proportional to your uptime and speed tier multiplier. Even with zero user traffic, being online earns you tokens from the daily pool.
Per-Gigabyte Rewards
1 DVPN per gigabyte of user traffic routed, multiplied by your speed tier. This creates a direct link between real utility (bandwidth provided) and token earning.

Daily Reward Pool
The 10,000 DVPN daily pool is distributed proportionally based on each node's "weighted uptime":

As the network grows, per-node pool rewards adjust, but per-GB traffic rewards increase as more users join. Estimates assume 24/7 uptime; actual earnings may vary.
